The African Union Board of External Auditors met on 20 November 2019 in Algiers under the chairmanship of Mr. Abdelkader BENMAROUF, President of the Algerian Court of Accounts and Chairman of the Board of External Auditors.
This meeting was devoted to the study and adoption of the strategy of the Board of External Auditors to approve the 2019 financial statements of the seven (7) organs of the African Union as well as the study and adoption of the compliance audit report on the evaluation of the African countries’ offers related to hosting the African Center for Mineral Development.
The African Union Board of External Auditors is composed of the heads of SAIs of Algeria, Egypt, South Africa, Morocco, Nigeria, Tunisia, Namibia, Congo, Ghana and Madagascar.
