The Programs and Reports Committee adopted, on November 26th, 2019 the Court of Accounts’ multiannual program for the period 2020-2022.
This program is based on three strategic priorities adopted by the Institution:
– Strategic priority No I: Fiscal sustainability and rationalization of public spending;
– Strategic priority No. II: Improving the performance of public management;
– Strategic priority No. III: The contribution of the Court of Accounts to the promotion of sustainable development.
The national chambers (8 chambers) and the territorial chambers (9 chambers) will carry out, within this framework, forty-three (43) control operations of an evaluative nature.
These operations relate to themes linked to the optimization of resources, the control of expenses, the profitability of public investments, the modernization of public management, the audit of the implementation of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the new technologies at the service of sustainable development.
The selected themes take care of the economic and social issues of the country as well as the concerns of the internal instances of the Court.
This second multiannual program 2020-2022 is called upon to consolidate the experience of the control chambers, after the first multiannual program set up and executed between 2017 and 2019.
